The Accelerated Reader program (AR) at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School is a program in which students read a book and take a computer-based test. Accelerated Reader is fun for all kids. Each book is worth a given number of points. If they make a 100%, they will earn all the possible points; otherwise, the points are pro-rated based on the number of test questions answered correctly. Accelerated Reader helps students with reading comprehension.
Students are expected to read books within their reading range and level. Students must have an average of 80% on AR tests for the test to count.
