Continuous Enrollment Information


At SPPS, we know the impact in a sustained, long-term relationship with families in the education of their children.  A continuous transition from Preschool through 8th Grade provides a consistent, comprehensive advancement through academic coursework.  To enhance this transition, SPPS is pleased to announce the new enrollment management plan called Continuous Enrollment.  From the first accepted application, your child will be enrolled at SPPS throughout their education to graduation unless the parent notifies the school, in writing otherwise.


Until last year, re-enrollment has been an annual commitment process.  Each March, we asked every family, “Are you returning?”  In a way, we’ve been inconveniencing the majority of our families by requiring the completion of this lengthy paperwork process every year.  Last year, we retained 86% of our student body.  So EVERYONE had to go through re-enrollment for the sake of the 14% that, for one reason or another, left our school community.

We want to reward your loyalty by making enrollment easier.  By signing your Continuous Enrollment Contract, you will be flipping that script.  Rather than an annual Opt-in process, SPPS’s annual re-enrollment will become an Opt-out process.  In other words, if you’re coming back after signing your Continuous Enrollment Contract, you’ll never have to worry about this again.


Your signature on the Continuous Enrollment Contract will be confirmation that you understand the terms of the contract.  The contract will be applied to the 2020-2021 academic year and will be renewed automatically until your child has graduated from SPPS.  This contract will be active unless and until it is terminated by SPPS or the completion of the withdrawal procedures by the family as outlined below.

In January of each year, SPPS will publish the following school year’s tuition and fees schedule and information regarding tuition assistance. In March, discounted Instructional Fees (formerly Registration Fee) will be charged to your Fast Direct account.  If the discounted Instructional fees aren’t paid by May 1st, the full Instructional fee will be charged to your Fast Direct account.


Notification of Withdrawal Form—To withdraw your child at any time for the current school year or for the following school year, please utilize the Intent to Withdraw Form found below.

If you withdraw your child after your first tuition draft but before the first day of school, tuition payments will be refunded minus a $100 processing fee.
